I am a native of Reno, Nevada, but I’ve lived  in many areas around this great country including Reno, Portland, Seattle, Denver and Chicago. At heart I’m a country boy with a passion for mountains, wildlife and the ocean. I’ve traveled extensively for work and for adventure. As an International Airline Captain for 40 years, I was paid to visit amazingly diverse cultures on just about all the continents, and I’ve been on adventures in the far reaches of this world in pursuit of the rare and  the exotic. I’ve  witnessed rare creatures in the depths of the oceans, and wild animals naturally in the vast wilderness. I’m a Master Diver with just under 2,000 dives worldwide.  I’m learning to document and piece my adventures together in an entertaining way to share with friends and family what  an incredible planet we live on, but more importantly, I’m passing much of my passion for adventure onto my children and grandchildren.
